If you're into beating motorcycle punks and cops off of their bikes with chains, bats, crowbars, or your bare fists (and hey, who isn't?), then this is definitely the game for you. Overall, Road Rash: Jailbreak puts the fun back into the Road Rash series, reemphasizing the fighting while still maintaining a good racing experience. It is the sixth and final game in the Road Rash series. It's not uncommon for a track to have four or more of these forks, and they really make each track feel generic. Road Rash: Jailbreak is a racing video game developed by EA Redwood Shores for the PlayStation version and Magic Pockets for the Game Boy Advance version and published by Electronic Arts for PlayStation in 2000 and for Game Boy Advance in 2003. Every track has the same forks in the road, and an onscreen arrow tells you which direction to choose. There are a ton of tracks in the game, but aside from different race locales, the track design isn't too different from track to track. Just don't try to pull a wheelie over a truck. The game also includes a time-trial mode and several multiplayer modes, like cops and robbers and side car. You make arrests simply by knocking enemies off their bikes, but it's significantly harder to knock people off in this mode. In this mode, you advance either by arresting thugs to fill your quota or by popping one flashing suspect. Five-O mode lets you play the role of the police. As you complete tracks, you'll earn points for racing and fighting well, and these points in turn grant you extra weapons and nitro boosts. You advance by placing third or higher on a track. In the game's main mode, you'll ally yourself with a gang and advance through its ranks.

Hopefully this series will be continued on the PS2.Electronic Arts has been making Road Rash games for close to ten years now, and with only a few exceptions, the series has remained true to its motorcycle racing, punching-and-kicking roots. It's basically the same game but with multiplayer and an extended story line. In the end, if you like what RR 3D offers, you'll dig RR jail Break as well. Story Mode now involves fighting to win the respect of your gang and midget friend. Overall, I miss the Thrash and Big Game Modes of years past. The problem is, mishaps fling you so far it takes forever to jog back to your bike. Unfortunately the post-wreck sprint back to the bike has made a return. Sidecar Battle alleviates the problem somewhat with one guy driving and the other attacking. It's tough to keep an opponent contained for a long exchange of blows. Technically multiplayer works fine the frame-rate keeps up and the computer bikes play along, yet it all could be better. Two-player is a welcome addition and pumps life into an otherwise so-so title. Most of the changes involve the play modes. Needless to say, the graphics haven't changed significantly from RR 3D. Gameplay favors an arcade-like style, with little emphasis on realism.
